Responding to Prof. W D Lakshman’s decision to retire from his post as the Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL), Samagi Jana Balawegaya MP Harsha De Silva accused him of doing so after destroying Sri Lanka’s currency.
De Silva expressed these views through a tweet today (10).
He also added that the currency was destroyed by way of Lakshman printing LKR 1.2 trillion to please his political masters.
