Colombo 75 Medics donate Rs. 3.5 Mn worth of medical equipment

The Colombo 75 Medics have donated a stock of essential medical equipment worth Rs. 3.5 Mn for the care of patients affected by Covid-19 in Sri Lanka.

Accordingly, the stock of equipment included 5 Oxygen Concentrators, 10 Multipara Monitors, 16 Electronic Blood Pressure Aparators, 200 Venturi Masks and 11 Pulse Oximeters.

The donation was made with the participation of Dr. Sudarshini Fernandopulle, State Minister of Primary Health Care, Epidemics and Covid Disease Control at the Ministry of Health yesterday (27).

Prof. Harendra de Silva, President of the Colombo 75 Medics, donated the equipment to eight hospitals in Sri Lanka.

Earlier too, the Colombo 75 Medics, with the support of Medical Aid to Sri Lanka UK, donated a stock of medical equipment worth over Rs. 08 million to 12 hospitals with the participation of State Minister Dr. Sudarshini Fernandopulle.
