The Colombo High Court has concluded hearing the case of the Avant Garde floating armoury today (28).
Accordingly, the High Court is expected to announce a decision on the 21st of May.
Chairman of the Avant Garde Maritime Services Company Nissanka Senadhipathi was accused of operating a floating armory onboard the MV Avant Garde.
During the period from 07 August 2012 to 8 January 2015, the Government suffered a financial loss of 11.4 billion rupees supposedly caused by the defendant who granted approval to Avant Garde Maritime Services to operate a floating armory.
