Constituent Party meeting with Prez on Yugadanavi not dismissed says Maithri

The meeting which was due between President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and the Governing parties regarding the Yugadanavi deal and the sale of Liquified Nitrogen Gas (LNG) has not been dismissed as people claim it has, said Former President and Leader of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) Maithripala Sirisena.

He made this statement today (20) when inquired by a journalist at the Sri Ketharama Viharaya.

“A time will be given for the meeting and the President has also appointed officials to discuss the matter regarding the Yugadanavi deal and the sale of LNG to foreigners,” said Sirisena.

Sirisena also clarified that there is a time for everything, and a time will be given for the meeting.
