Constructions of 25-storey office complex in Sethsiripaya commenced

The constructions of a 25-storey office complex at Sethsiripaya in Battaramulla commenced this morning, the government said. Construction works were inaugurated by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa who is also the Minister of Urban Development. The total cost of the office complex, which will be completed in three and a half years, is Rs. 16.7 billion. Once completed, the building would be the tallest building to be constructed with the largest investment made for a government office complex. The project consists of 1.37 million square feet of office space with modern office facilities. The office complex, which is fully owned and funded by the Urban Development Authority, is equipped with a variety of public facilities, including commercial, banking, restaurants, meeting halls, special events and car parks, multi-purpose multi-purpose fitness centers, and more. The project is supervised by Dr. Nalaka Godahewa, Minister of State for Urban Development, Coast Conservation, Sewerage and Public Sanitation.
