* Columbia 0 - 0 Venezuela

Venezuela managed to hold off a tough challenge from Columbia on Thursday (17). Throughout the first half, Columbia had numerous attacks but failed to find the back of the net. Venezuela shot-stopper Wuilker Farinez was a brick stone in front of the goal. Second half was no different from the first where Farinez was tested in front of goal. Columbia kept pushing but they couldn’t go past Farinez. During injury time, Luiz Diaz received a straight red for a reckless tackle to end a disappointing night for Columbia.
