The Permanent High Court at Bar today (21) acquitted President Gotabaya Rajapaksa from the D.A. Rajapaksa Museum case.
The three-judge bench has also ordered the President’s impounded passport to be released.
A case was filed against the former Defense Secretary in regard to the misappropriation of Rs. 33.9 million for the construction of the D.A. Rajapaksa Memorial and Museum in Medamulana.
