The number of COVID-19 deaths reported in the country exceeded 100 today along with eight COVID-19 deaths, the Government Information Department said.
Accordingly, the toll of COVID-19 deaths reached 107 today.
A 87-year-old female from Colombo 13, a 54-year-old female from Colombo 9, a 78-year-old female from Maradana and a 36-year-old male from Colombo 15 are among the eight victims.
The other four deaths are; a 83-year-old male from Colombo 2, a 58-year-old female from Colombo 10, a 69-year-old male from Colombo 13 and a 70-year-old male from the Magazine Prison, Colombo.
