COVID restrictions for Ramadan issued

The Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs has issued restrictions on Ramadan to ensure maximum security against Covid-19. Wakfs Board decides to temporarily suspend Taraveeh (night prayers during Ramadan), Jummah prayers and congregational activities in all Mosques until further notice. They stated that only 25 persons were allowed into a mosque at a time for five Jamma'ath prayers per day. Meanwhile, all ablution areas in mosques are told to be kept closed. The Persons in charge have also been permitted to close the mosques if the relevant procedures have not been followed.
