Cutting-edge printer for Liberty Publishers
Liberty Publishers (Pvt.) Ltd., home to The Sunday Morning, Sathi Aga Aruna, Sunday Thamilan, The Morning, Aruna, Thamilan, Dharanee, and Tharuwa newspapers, last week upgraded its printing capability by inducting a state-of-the-art, fully automated, and networked printing machine.
Liberty Publishers entered the Sri Lankan print media in 2018 with two weekend papers – Sathi Aga Aruna and The Sunday Morning.
The new machine, a Manugraph Web City Line Express, can print multiple pages simultaneously and in large volumes.
The need to upgrade the printing capacity of Liberty Publishers came following a growth in the market share of the three newspapers and related publications.
Addressing the press at the launch last Friday (12), Liberty Publishers (Pvt.) Ltd. Chief Executive Officer Vijith Chandrasena stated that the upgrade will enable the company to provide a range of quality publications for their readership.
