By Sarah Hannan The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA), through an extraordinary gazette, published the maximum price of laboratory tests for the dengue antigen and full blood count (FBC). Accordingly, with effect from 29 July 2020, the maximum price for the NS1 antigen test for dengue with report generation would be Rs. 1,200, while the maximum price for the FBC test with report generation is marked at Rs. 400. The gazette was issued and signed by CAA Chairman (Retd.) Maj. Gen. Shantha Dissanayake, under gazette No. 2186/17 Order No. 67 of 29 July 2020.
