Dr. Asela Gunawardena, Director of the Kalubowila General Hospital has been appointed as the Director General of Health Services, the Ministry of Health said.

The appointment was made last night (26) by Dr. S. Sridharan, who has been the Director of Health Services till now. Dr. Sridharan has now  been appointed as the Deputy Director General (Planning) of the Ministry of Health.
