Dr. Prasanna Gunasena has been appointed Chairman of State Pharmaceuticals Corporation(SPC). Dr. Gunasena is a Consultant Neurosurgeon attached to Lanka Hospitals. He will be replacing former SPC Chairman Rumi Mohammad. SPC  holds the largest market share in the pharmaceutical industry in Sri Lanka.
