Health officials say an employee of the Department of Government Information has tested positive for COVID-19.
This individual is an office assistant in the department. It has been revealed that he had gone to the Peliyagoda fish market on the 16th.
it was reported that the people who went to the Peliyagoda fish market were told to undergo a PCR test but he remained at the office premises without being informed and spent the night in one section of the department itself.
