Finance Ministry, Treasury staff donate salary percentage

The Finance Ministry and Treasure staff have decided to donate a percentage of their salary to the Widows’ and Orphans’ Pension Fund.

The staff has decided to donate their salaries after President’s Secretary Dr. P.B. Accordingly, the Treasury Secretary has donated 50% of his May salary, a majority of the staff members have donated 25% and 10% of their May salaries while some have contributed a day’s salary, the Finance Ministry said.
