The Police anti-narcotic operations that are conducted seized five suspects for possession of drugs yesterday, stated Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana today.
Accordingly, a 20-year-old suspect was arrested in Katugastota with 30 grams of heroin. A female suspect was arrested in Borella Police area with 5 grams of heroin.
Modara police has also arrested a suspect in the possession of 6 grams of heroin. The Mount Lavinia Crime Detective Bureau has arrested a suspect with 9 grams of heroin.
Further, Uragaha police has arrested a suspect with 5 grams of heroin. The police has also recovered Rs. 75,000 from the possession of the suspect which were his earnings through drug trafficking.
