Samagi Jana Balawegaya MP Harin Fernando today wore a black shawl in Parliament in protest against the imprisonment of Ranjan Ramanayake. The MP said he would continue to wear the black shawl in Parliament until justice would be meted out to Ramanayake. He stated that Ramanayake was imprisoned for exposing frauds and speaking the truth in Parliament. "Therefore, justice should be meted out to Ranjan. His sentence is unfair," MP Fernando said.
