Hawk-eagle allegedly used by drug trafficker seized

A Hawk-eagle suspected to have been used for drug trafficking, has been seized by the Athurugiriya Police.

Police say the bird has been used by drug kingpin “Angoda Lokka”.

Two suspects have been arrested over the incident along with an air rifle and 10 bullets.
