The Health Ministry has taken a decision to convert the Hendala Leprosy Hospital into a quarantine facilitate to quarantine passengers from Iran, South Korea and Italy, Health Services Director General Dr. Anil Jasinghe said today.
According to Dr. Jasinghe the decision was made when the National Action Committee on COVID-19, chaired by Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi, convened yesterday.
Yesterday, The Ministry announced that it will quarantine all passengers arriving from the above mentioned countries for 14 days.
