A total of 1,939 Covid patients were identified yesterday throughout the island, making it the highest single-day increase in Sri Lanka.
The highest number of Covid patients were reported from Colombo district, with 498.
Further, 387 cases were reported from Gampaha district, followed by 377 from Kalutara district.
