Operations of the Hatton National Bank (HNB) kollupitiya branch has been shut down for a period of 14 days. The measure has been taken after a parent of an employee of the branch has been tested positive for COVID-19. As a precautionary measure, HNB has instructed its HNB kollupitiya staff to self quarantine for a period of two weeks. The branch has further undergone a disinfection process. HNB kollupitiya branch customers have been advised to use other HNB branches in the vicinity. The bank said further measures maybe taken depending on how the situation evolves and based on recommendations of the medical authorities.
