Sri Lanka Police has set up new hotlines for the public to report on organised crime.
Police Spokesperson SSP Jaliya Senaratne speaking at a press briefing today said hotline 1997 has been set up for the public to report on extortion, dangerous drugs and large scale corruption.
Hotline 1917 has been setup for the public to report on crime associated with drug trafficking.
