IATA, after a stringent audit process, have renewed the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) registry for SriLankan Airlines for a further two year period up to 4th December 2020.
The IOSA is the benchmark of registration that is achievable by any airline for operational management and control systems.
The media report states that 'SriLankan Airlines has a firm tradition of adopting and adhering to the highest standards and benchmarks in all areas of airline operations.'
SriLankan Airlines was one of the first members in the Asian region to conform to these standards way back in 2006, and still to this day these standards are being met.
