Former High Court Judge Padmini Ranawaka arrived at the Colombo Crimes Division a short while ago to provide a statement on the leaked tele conversation she allegedly had with Parliamentarian Ranjan Ramanayake.
Yesterday, The CCD recorded a statement from the Embilipitiya High Court Judge, Gihan Pilapitiya for more than five hours in connection to a leaked telephone conversation he had with Ramanayake.
The CCD is also due to record a statement from Baddegama Magistrate Dhammika Hemapala, who was recently interdicted by the Judicial Service Commission(JSC) for his incriminating tele conversations with the MP.
On the 16 of January, the Attorney General (AG) directed the Director CCD to record statements from the three judges who were involved in the controversial telephone conversations with Ramanayake.
