Largest vaccine consignment to date arrives
A consignment containing four million doses of the China-manufactured Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine arrived in Sri Lanka this morning (05).
According to State Minister of Production, Supply and Regulation of Pharmaceuticals Prof. Channa Jayasumana, this is the largest quantity of vaccines procured by the country in a single consignment.
The vaccines arrived onboard SriLankan Airlines flight UL869.
