Talawakelle-Lindula Urban Council Vice-Chairman L. Bharathidasan has been arrested over an election violation.  The Talawakelle Police, when contacted by the Sunday Morning, said the Vice-Chairman was arrested for being in possession of 219 sample ballot papers. Bharathidasan is due to be produced before the Nuwara Eliya Magistrate's Court today.   .
