The Lanka Indian Oil Company (LIOC) donated 02 oxygen concentrators to the Sri Lanka Police to be used at the Narahenpita police hospital.
This was made known by Police Spokesperson SSP (Attorney at law) Nihal Thalduwa today (04).
"The concentrators were donated to the Police Hospital on the 31st of December 2021 as an act of goodwill and considering the hard work, efforts and sacrifices made by the Sri Lanka Police during the pandemic," said Thalduwa.
Additionally, Thalduwa further mentioned that the concentrators that were donated would be set up at the new building at the police hospital.
In attendance at the donation ceremony was LIOC Managing Director Manoj Gupta, Police Acting DIG Ms. W J Padmini, Police Spokesperson SSP Nihal Thalduwa, ASP P K Serasinghe, ASP Dr W C C Ranasinghe and other officials from the Sri Lanka police and LIOC.
