"Sheena", a 12 year old lioness at the Dehiwala Zoo also tested positive for Covid-19, the Zoological Department stated today (24). They stated that the lioness has been isolated from other animals due to the spread of the virus. The Zoological Department stated in a release that multiple PCR and rapid antigen tests had been done on the animals who were in close proximity of Thor, the lion who tested positive for Covid-19 previously.
