By Skandha Gunasekara  The export manufacturing sector is operating at about 90% capacity, The Morning learnt. “A majority of the factories are operational. I believe around 80- 90% are operating at full strength,” Export Development Board President Prabhash Subasinghe told The Morning.  [caption id="attachment_77524" align="alignleft" width="300"] Export Development Board President Prabhash Subasinghe[/caption] He said that this had been enabled due to the instructions given by the Government to allow the supply chain to function with stringent adherence to Covid-19 regulations.  “The Government has taken measures to ensure that the export factories as well as the supply chain are allowed to operate amidst the local curfews and lockdowns.”
