New Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa assumed duties at the Temple Trees today.Gamini Senarath has been appointed as the Secretary to the Prime Minster.
Senarath was Rajapaksa's former Chief of Staff.
He was recently acquitted and released by Court from charges of misappropriating Rs. 500 million of State funds belonging to the Litro Gas Company.
Meanwhile, the Cabinet of Ministers of the care taker government will be sworn in tomorrow (22), SLPP parliamentarian, Dullas Alahapperuma told reporters today.
