A maximum retail price of Rs 3000/- has been decided upon by the Government of Sri Lanka for a Pulse Oximeter, said State Minister Prof. Channa Jayasumana today (02).
Registered suppliers and their brands are displayed on the NMRA website and Dr Jayasumana confirmed that substandard and faulty devices have been sold in the market, which is a major risk to patients especially during this pandemic.
He urged people to only purchase pulse oximeters that have been listed on the NMRA website to avoid the purchase of faulty medical devices.
