Five naval officers have been injured in a bus accident this morning (28). An SLTB bus, carrying 32 naval officers, had crashed into a wall at Randombe area in Ambalangoda at around 2.30 am. The injured naval officers are currently receiving treatment at the Base Hospital in Balapitiya. The accident was reported to be a result of the driver falling asleep at the wheel.The bus drive has been taken into police custody.
