The no confidence motion filed against Minister of Energy Udaya Gammanpila has been scheduled for Parliamentary debate on the 19th and 20th of July, Parliamentary Sergeant at Arms Narendra Fernando said today (05).
It was decided at a House meeting convened under the patronage of Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardene.
A two day debate has been scheduled for the no confidence motion filed against Gammanpila by the Opposition with regard to the recent fuel price hike.
This is the first no confidence motion filed against a Minister of the current government.
