Non essential public sector workers need not report to work tomorrow (20) due to the ongoing fuel crisis, said Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.
He told parliament that the fuel situation will be resolved during the weekend.
Wickremesinghe made this statement in response to a question posed in the House about transport facilities for student sitting for GCE O/Level exams from Monday (23).
The Premier noted that the students would not be affected since the situation would ease during the weekend.
