Sunil Jayasinghe was the 1974 Nalanda College first-XI Captain. For many years, he represented Bloomfield and during the 1982/83 Lakspray Trophy, he compiled a monumental 283 against CCC (the tournament was only recognised as first-class from 1988/89).
