1,198 persons have been arrested for violating the quarantine rules in the past 24 hours, Police Media Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana stated yesterday (13).
Accordingly, the total number of arrests made since last October is 32,593.
DIG Ajith Rohana stated that special police teams have been deployed today (14) to deal with those violating the quarantine rules.
