The National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) said a total of 116,000 persons are undergoing home quarantine as of today. It said 3,399 persons are being quarantined at hotels as 410 persons have entered into hotel quarantine yesterday. Meanwhile, Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said they are conducting special operations to observe the home quarantine process. “We have received reports that some of the individuals undergoing home quarantine are disregarding health guidelines and regulations,” he said.
