Over 170 Welikada Prison inmates will be subject to PCR tests.
These inmates have been identified as direct contacts of the inmate who had tested positive for the coronavirus today.
The coronavirus positive inmate was transferred to the Welikada Prison from the Treatment and Rehabilitation Centre – East in Kandakadu on June 27.
