Over 300 individuals were arrested yesterday (06) for failing to adhere to health and safety regulations.
Accordingly, 322 arrests were made for not wearing face masks and failing to maintain social distancing, the Police Media Spokesperson, Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Ajith Rohana said.
The DIG added that 48,244 suspects have been arrested since 30 October in this regard.
