An owner of a hotel and 19 other persons including five females have been arrested while allegedly being in possession of drugs during a raid on a party organised through Facebook at a hotel in Bellantudawa in Millaniya.
The arrests were made on Sunday (9) and the Police had also recovered 2.4 g of heroin, 13 g of cannabis, and five narcotic pills in the suspects’ possession.
The arrested are aged between 17 and 60 have been identified as residents of Bandaragama, Mellamulla, Dehiwala, Panadura, Dodangoda, Yatiyana, Kaduwela, Horana, and Boralesgamuwa.
The suspects were to be produced before the Horana Magistrate’s Court yesterday (10).
