Minister of Industries Wimal Weerawansa claimed that there are people who have plenty of US dollars in the country, and people who have a conscience would know that they are not releasing the funds.
He made this statement during a media brief held yesterday (21).
"Decisions cannot be suddenly made, and we are slowly stepping out of a pandemic now. There are people who have US Dollars but don't want to release the money," accused Weerawansa.
He finally concluded by asking people to be true to their conscience and see if they are doing the right thing.
