Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Lanka Rajini Amarasena has been appointed as the first female Director of the Police Headquarter Administration. Last week, for the 2nd time in the history of Sri Lanka Police Department, female Chief Inspector Kanchana Samarakoon was appointed as the Officer in Charge (OIC) of the Naalla Police Station in Gampaha.
