According to information received by the police yesterday (25) a place where fake identity cards and other documents were prepared has been raided, Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said today.
It is in the Wewelduwa area in Kiribathgoda.
One suspect was arrested at the scene and five fake identity cards, a fake driver's license, a printer and 90 papers were also found.
Police said there was evidence that various documents had been prepared at the scene.
