President Gotabaya Rajapaksa will be attending the UN Climate change conference 2020 in Glasgow, United Kingdom.
The conference is due to be held from the 01st to 12th November 2021.
The UN climate change conference aims at bringing parties together to accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.
The goals listed for the year 2021 are said to be Securing global net zero by mid-century and keep 1.5 degrees within reach, Adapting to protect communities and natural habitats, Mobilising finance and Working together for the delivery of these goals.
