Former Minister Rajitha Senaratne, who is currently receiving treatment at Lanka Hospitals in Narahenpita, has been remanded by the Colombo Additional Magistrate until December 30.
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID), had arrested Senaratne at 2.10 p.m. this afternoon (27)
Following the arrest, the Colombo Additional Magistrate had visited Senaratne at the hospital.
The Police was on the lookout for Senaratne as an arrest warrant was issued(24) by the Colombo Additional Magistrate over the ‘white van’ press briefing held on 10 November.Rajitha remanded until 30 December
