Sabry visits Port City to see development progress

Minister of Justice Ali Sabry visited the Colombo Port City today (18) to inspect the development progress at the premises.

During his visit Sabry met with the Port City officials who requested the Minister to speed up the drafting of laws pertaining to the Port City.

“By developing the Port City, Sri Lanka opens doors for investments and business opportunities. This will also be good for international entertainment. Our true potential as a country will then be evident. Sri Lanka is now in progress for a better future, I believe this development will assist in this prospect,” said Sabry during his visit.

Along with Sabry, in attendance was CHECC Port City Colombo Chairman Yung Li, Head of Strategy and Business Development Thulci Aluwihare, Country Manager – Sales and Investor Relations Randika Ellepola, Assistant Manager of Estate Management Chathura Cabraal and Secretary to the Ministry of Justice Janaka Ranatunga.
