Savini and Janali clinch Govt. Servants TC tennis title

The Government Servants’ Tennis Club (GSTC) annual tennis tournament, the prestigious prize-money competition of the year, was held recently in women’s and men’s doubles categories at the GSTC courts in Colombo.
The tournament began on 30 April and ended on 3 May. Here are the women’s doubles champions this year, Savini Jayasuriya (on left) and Janali Manamperi, who beat former national champions Amritha Muttiah and Kemalie Herath 6/3, 6/0 in the event’s final.
