Former Director of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Shani Abeysekera arrived at the Presidential Commission of Inquiry (PCoI) probing political victimisation during the former Government to testify today (19).
The PCoI had summoned Abeysekera to testify over a complaint filed against him.
Abeysekera is currently in remand custody and was brought before the Commission by the Prisons official.
