Singapore Airlines resumes daily flights to CMB

Singapore Airlines recently resumed daily flights between Colombo and Singapore. Accordingly, flight SQ469 departs from Colombo at 12.45 a.m. and arrives in Singapore at 7.20 a.m. For the return sector, SQ468 departs from Singapore at 10.10 p.m. and arrives in Colombo at 11.30 p.m. Along with the flight resumption, flight frequencies were also increased to seven times weekly from five weekly flights. Singapore Airlines General Manager – Sri Lanka Zachary Liew said: “We are delighted to resume daily operations between Colombo and Singapore as we continue to expand our global network in a safe and calibrated manner. This will provide additional passenger travel and air freight options for our customers and facilitate improved connections beyond our hub in Singapore.” Singapore Airlines operates the Airbus A350-900 aircraft between Colombo and Singapore, with 40 Business Class seats and 263 Economy Class seats. The Business Class seats can be reclined into fully flat beds and are arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration, providing every customer with direct aisle access. The Economy Class seats are ergonomically designed with contour backrests, six-way adjustable headrests, and 11.6-inch full-HD personal touchscreen monitors. The airline has also implemented myriad digital solutions for the wellbeing of its customers as well as to support a comfortable and seamless experience.
