The first dose of the Sinopharm vaccine will be given to people over the age of 30 in the Western Province from today (15) at the Viharamahadevi Park, Colombo, the Colombo Municipal Council said.
The Army Headquarters stated that the vaccination will be given by the Army Medical Team.
Residents of the Western Province can bring their National Identity Card, Electricity Bill, Telephone Bill or a certified copy of the Electoral Roll by the Grama Niladhari.
Meanwhile, the vaccination center at the Battaramulla Diyatha Uyana, which was activated by the Army, will be temporarily closed from today (15) until the 19th, the Army said.
